Online Help: Installing PalmBrew & ChoiceWay City Guides on Palm OS Devices

Installation is a simple process. This example shows installation of the ChoiceWay Guide: Paris. For PalmBrew and other cities the same basic directions apply. Before starting, check to ensure that the Palm device has enough free memory. Click here for more information on memory.

1. If you have not already done so, on a Windows® PC unzip the "InstallParis4.prc" file by running the program you downloaded "paris4.exe" On a Macintosh® computer unstuff the "paris4.sit" archive to access the "InstallParis.prc" file.
2. Install the file "InstallParis.prc" to the Palm Device using the HotSync Installer/Manager.
3. On the Palm Device tap the Applications Icon near the lower left of the screen. (See below)
4. Tap the InstallParis Icon to continue the installation on the Palm Device.
5. Tap the Install button to continue.
6. This is a copy of the progress screen during the install process.
   

7. End of installation. Tap OK. If errors occur, see problem information.
8. Tap Paris Icon to start the guide.
