Palm OS version compatibility

The PalmBrew Guide is compatible with all Palm Devices running Palm OS 3.5 or newer. (Click here to see a list of Palm devices & OS versions.) If you try to run the PalmBrew guide on an older device you will see a warning notice when the program starts.

Note: While the Handspring Visor and Visor Deluxe use Palm OS ver 3.1H, limited testing has shown compatibility with the PalmBrew Guide, but it cannot be guaranteed in all cases. If you try the PalmBrew guide on the original Visor, you will see the warning notice, but the guide may still function.

The PalmBrew Guide & ChoiceWay City Guides new version 4.01 are compatible with the new PDA's using Palm OS 5.

With the introduction of the Palm Tungsten | T in 2002, Palm Computing also introduced a new Operating System -- Palm OS 5. The new devices with OS 5 use a new faster microprocessor.
